I'll give it a 4 for having a promising plot and a compelling story. It is almost triple the number of pages of a regular fiction novel but once you do finish it you will understand that there was no other way around it because the sequences are all connected and it paints a beautiful picture towards the end.
I think a strength or weakness of the book is its length. The way the book was written is surely meant for television, the pace, the tone, and the expansive lore is something that you cannot fully digest in one sitting. It's fresh and it's a book you cannot put down.
In my many years of reading, I must say that this book gave that superb feeling of digging into something new. I almost never access my goodreads but since I could not do a review in Amazon, I decided to drop my review here. (I am slower than my usual, comes with age.)
